KARACHI: Sindh Home Ministry, after putting ban on People’s Aman Committee (PAC), has finally issued its notification after collapse of six months.
Also, the ministry in its order has directed the law enforcement agencies to monitor activities of the committee.
According to home ministry-issued notification, the PAC has been declared defunct outfit, outlawing establishment of its offices and restricting its activities anywhere in the province.
Meanwhile, the order has also directed security agencies to keep stern eye over the activities of committee.
Earlier on Friday, former Home Minister Sindh Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza said to a press conference that he was going to revive activities of PAC, challenging Interior Minister A. Rehman Malik to dare ban committee in what is known to be the Headquarters of the PAC – Lyari.
It is anticipated that there will be much hue and cry in media circles in coming days over eruption of fresh controversy.
